Lake Patria control unit

Meteorological monitoring of the coastal area of the Volturo River Plain, which lies between the provinces of Naples and Caserta, is carried out by means of a DAVIS Instruments central unit, model ISS Vantage Pro2 wireless, operational since 2020, located at Lake Patria in the territory of the municipality of Giugliano (NA), which allows continuous monitoring of the main weather-climate parameters, such as temperature, rain, wind (direction and intensity), relative humidity, and atmospheric pressure. The frequency of measurements is 10 minutes. A webcam that captures the surface of the coastal lake is also associated with the central unit.
