As part of European and national projects, ISMAR Bologna offers two PCTOs for 11th-13th grade classes.
The PCTOs are as follows:
1) Title: “Materials and New Technologies: let’s use Minecraft to teach geology to the little ones”
Description: Do you want to collaborate with researchers in showing the little ones what some everyday objects are made of in a fun way? With this pathway you can become a developer of new exercises, which use Minecraft, to be proposed to primary schools or prepare yourself to take on the role of animator of children’s activities in the geological field. The PCTO takes place in the field of Geology-mineral exploitation and started thanks to the European project BGE2.0;
2) Title: “Coastal Environment: evolutionary characteristics and sustainable development”
Description: seminars, guided tours and field trips in order to learn about the scientific, social and managerial issues associated with the development and exploitation of coastal environments. The ultimate goal is the creation of dissemination materials on the subject. In collaboration with Dr. Franco Marabini.
